The Lost Nation Combustion Turbine is located on ~11.5 acres in the town of Northumberland, in northern New Hampshire.  Lost Nation serves primarily as a peaking unit, operating during periods of extreme intermittent demand.  Additionally, this unit is called upon when a quick response is needed for additional generation to maintain electrical system stability to the grid.  While capable of providing several ISO-NE market products, the unit typically serves the capacity and reserve markets.
